In terms of Production

The production of poultry meat is concentrated along the coast of the country, and is much less in the North and in the regions of the west.

In terms of commercialization

Chicken meat is the standard main source of white meat with production reached 93.900 tons in 2004 to be near 69% of white meat. In 2010, production reached about 100,000 tons or 63% white meat around.
Marketing channels are changing because since 2006, slaughter and sale of live chicken are being totally banned. For this purpose, a new regulation was enacted.
